Biography
A soprano with opera training, theatrical instinct, and a composer’s ear.
Jovana Filipović Ćalić is a Serbian soprano, performer, and composer based in Novi Sad. Since 2021 she has been engaged as an Opera Choir Singer, Soprano 1, at the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad, and since 2025 she has been part of Opera Studio “Vojislav Soldatović”.
Her work spans operatic roles, children’s opera, concert and ensemble singing, and original composition. She is currently studying opera singing at the Academy of Arts, University in Novi Sad, with Željko Lučić, after completing bachelor’s and master’s studies in composition.
